Nvidia is filling out it’s Ampere GPU line up with a new affordable model, the RTX 3060 Ti. The Ampere cards have elevated our expectations of a GPU should be. The new RTX 3060 Ti slots in underneath these cards and matches up closely to the outgoing RTX 3080 super but at a price of around $400. The Ampere series brings a new generation of ray tracing cores and new AI tuned tensor cores.

Nvidia continues to release attractive and cost effective GPUs with the 3060 Ti. The price paired with the performance makes this card a better deal for budget minded consumers. This card is a perfect choice for high end 1080p gaming or all around 1440p gaming. The $100 savings makes this card a better value to performance than the RTX 3070. Hopefully with 2020 behind us, the supply will improve and more will be able to purchase the card.
